BIO
Porter A. Hamilton is a photographer from Jacksonville, Florida. He will graduate from the Savannah College of Art and Design with a BFA in photography in 2018. He is passionate about documentary work and bringing that sense of honesty into every subject he photographs. His study of fashion design as a minor has driven his understanding and love for fashion photography.
ARTIST'S STATEMENT
I seek to make photographs about the unseen crevices in the world, and unordinary faces that get overlooked. My work concentrates on opening minds and spreading awareness. I am experienced in various formats of film photography, as well as digital. My subject matter is constantly evolving, and I always make time for personal work. I am passionate about getting to explore different facets of the world of photography.
